Rose Hulman Institute of Technology is the #1 undergraduate engineering college in the USA for 20 years in a row. Established in 1874 Rose-Hulman is situated on 200 acres on the east side of Terre Haute. There are over 2200 undergraduates and about 100 graduate students.
Saint Mary of the Woods College is a coeducational Catholic, liberal arts college located west of the city of Terre Haute. Founded in 1840 by Saint Mother Theodore Guerin.
Wabash Valley Ivy Tech Community College is the states largest public postsecondary institution located south of the city of Terre Haute.
Vigo County School Corporation There are 5 high schools, 5 middle schools and 18 elementary schools located in Vigo County.

Swope Art Museum is located in downtown Terre Haute along the arts corridor. Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, now in its 90th season, is the oldest professional orchestra in the state of Indiana. Started as a volunteer group of musicians who provided community entertainment, the Terre Haute Symphony has evolved into a group of highly-skilled, paid professional musicians who complete auditions to demonstrate their skill level.
Wabash Valley Art Spaces Art Spaces, located in Terre Haute, Indiana, is changing the landscape of the city through public art and design. Fifteen unique site-specific public sculptures now add meaning and interest to public places and provide free access to the arts for everyone, all of the time.
